Time's Getting Short

Well, for those of you who have either read my blog last year about this time you may remember that NaNoWriMo is almost apon us *shudder*.

I will be attempting this amazing feat again, but not by myself. I have gotten Zelia involved (or at least interested). This should be a boon, as now we can challenge each other to get writing. For those who know not of what I speak, I invite you to visit www.nanowrimo.org and check it out. If you are feeling very adventurous, I invite you join the multitudes of others for a month of fun and chaos.

Zelia has a story idea for this, which is very, very good. It's hard to write a novel without one. I'm sure she'll do amazing. I, on the other hand, don't have one. I have several partial ideas in my head, but I'm having trouble picking one. If I don't pick one, my novel is going to be very...interesting.

Speaking of novels, came across this today. I agree with the blogger. Read the blog and I'm sure you'll agree too.

It may be hard, but I hope it's not impossible. I have done zero planning, zero plotting, zero thinking about what I'm going to write this year for Nano. Hopefully I'll get inspired this weekend before the meetup... before November bites me in the ass.

Yeah, I'll just start typing and hope to hell it makes sense.

Hmmm, I should check about the local kick-off meeting too.

Good luck to all!
