Hitchhiker's and Other Things

Well, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is one of my favourite movies. Period.

I loved it. I loved every little British bit. It brought joy to my soul and has left it's essence in my being. It and I will forever be one.

Of course, I could be a little biased, as I loved all the books. Actually, I love Douglas Adams writing. I do enjoy his style of British humour.

The movie is basically the first book, but it has added scenes and characters that aren't in the book. And that's ok, because it's usually very difficult to turn a book into a movie exactly. But, I think that this might be one of those "I hate it/I love it" movies. Either or. No middle ground.

Ok, now, onto the "Other Things".

I can't wait until I get more of the "Pirates of the Spanish Main" cards. They are soooooooo cool. I really want to play a fleet game. It'll be way cool. And fun. Fun and cool. However, I haven't been able to find them anywhere except in the Rogers store where I work on occasion. Well, I'm sure they must be somewhere. It's just a matter of finding them.

Well, the next big move will be Star Wars 3: Revenge of the Sith. Man, it looks so good. I may have to bring an extra pair of pants.

I really enjoyed the movie too! I haven't read all the books, but I thought it was really well done.

On the note about the Pirates, I think it looks really cute and it would be interesting to learn to play. We'll have to find other places that sell those packs so we can make more ships :)

Let's give the game a test run sometime soon :)
