The Da Vinci Code - A Blog
Well, look at that. I guess I found something else to blog about.
Just saw the teaser for The Da Vinci Code - scheduled for next May - and they have a pretty powerful cast. And here is the list:
Tom Hanks (if you need to look him up, get out from under that rock and look at the movie industry), Audrey Tautou (ok, I don't know her, but I know who she's playing), Ian McKellen (Magneto from X-Men, among other things - a great actor), Alfred Molina (Doc Oc from Spiderman 2, among other things) and Jean Reno (he was in that assassin movie, you know! Crap, I can't remember, but it was good). It is directed by Ron Howard (Apollo Eleven, Tremors, and a crapload of other stuff) - amazing director.
And all I could think about is how this movie is going to suck. And that's a big thing from me, as I usually like all movies. Well, the movies that I watch.
Check out the teaser at Apple.com and see for yourself. They allude to a couple of things from the book, so yeah, if you've read the book, the movie will likely bore you.
But that's just my take on it.
